Alex is a natural born innovative inspirational leader.

How do I know? I have known Alex for many years especially when we were both involved in delivering Centrelink services to Victorian prisons. For 10 years Alex provided Centrelink services to Fulham Correctional Centre – no easy task, as a lone worker in a large medium security male prison with endless daily releases requiring Centrelink payments on the day.

Alex developed and strengthened working relationships and enduring partnerships with the prison staff, from reception to the general manager, across the Centrelink prison staff network and gained unique respect from the prisoners she serviced.

Alex developed a local justice reference group to enhance service coordination for people returning to the community from Fulham. All for the united purpose of enhancing people’s lives being released to ultimately enhance community safety.

When Alex left, the prison gave her the most treasured farewell as testimony to their high regard for her. A true leader! Thank you Alex.

I had the pleasure of working with Alex on the Empowering Leaders Summit where she was the facilitator who interviewed me for the session.
