I’m Alexandra Egan, a Business Diagnostic & Advisory specialist and creator of R.E.S.E.T. Your Thinking®.

I review businesses to understand whether the offer, pricing, delivery, customer experience and internal structure are aligned with the market they are trying to reach.

My work is not coaching, motivation or generic business advice. It is structured diagnostic work that identifies what is actually getting in the way, what needs to be decided, and what needs to change next.

How this work was developed

R.E.S.E.T. Your Thinking® was developed through more than three decades of working inside complex, high-pressure environments where decisions had real consequences and margin for error was low.

Across senior program delivery, operational leadership, and advisory roles, Alexandra has worked in systems where clarity, judgement, and sequencing mattered more than good intentions. That experience shaped a very specific way of working:

observing patterns rather than reacting to symptoms
identifying constraints before proposing solutions
creating enough structure to support sound decisions
removing obstacles that prevent progress

The result is not a motivational program or a set of tools.

It’s a diagnostic framework designed to help individuals, leaders, and teams see what’s actually happening and decide what to do next.

What sits underneath the approach

This work is grounded in a simple belief:

People don’t usually lack capability.
They lack clarity about where to direct it.

When the right issue is identified and the right decision is made, progress follows without force.

R.E.S.E.T. exists to create that moment of clarity calmly, deliberately, and without guesswork.

Alex is a natural born innovative inspirational leader.

How do I know? I have known Alex for many years especially when we were both involved in delivering Centrelink services to Victorian prisons. For 10 years Alex provided Centrelink services to Fulham Correctional Centre – no easy task, as a lone worker in a large medium security male prison with endless daily releases requiring Centrelink payments on the day.

Alex developed and strengthened working relationships and enduring partnerships with the prison staff, from reception to the general manager, across the Centrelink prison staff network and gained unique respect from the prisoners she serviced.

Alex developed a local justice reference group to enhance service coordination for people returning to the community from Fulham. All for the united purpose of enhancing people’s lives being released to ultimately enhance community safety.
